Expected to travel to Singapore if needed for production shoots and team integration (company covers transport) Role Overview We’re seeking a passionate and versatile Animation Creative to develop engaging educational and media-based animation content for the Mugua ecosystem. You’ll design, storyboard, and produce 2D/3D animated visuals that bring learning concepts and stories to life—making complex ideas fun, visual, and easy to understand for students, educators, and digital audiences. This role blends storytelling, design, and educational insight—ideal for someone who thrives in both creative production and purpose-driven education. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize and storyboard educational and media-related animation projects (shorts, explainers, social content, and learning modules). Collaborate with curriculum developers, writers, and instructional designers to visualize learning outcomes. Develop characters, visual style, and brand consistency across learning platforms. Produce 2D or 3D animation sequences from concept to final render. Work with illustrators, sound designers, and editors to deliver polished outputs. Optimize animations for various platforms (YouTube, e-learning portals, mobile apps, and social media). Create animated content for marketing campaigns, product explainers, and brand storytelling. Adapt creative assets for different audience age groups and regions. Support creative strategy across educational and media ventures. Qualifications Minimum 3–4 years of experience in 2D and/or 3D animation for educational, media, or digital content projects. Ability to plan, storyboard, and execute animation sequences from initial concept to final render. Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Animate, Blender, Toon Boom, or equivalent. Working knowledge of character animation, scene composition, and motion design principles. Experience collaborating with scriptwriters, educators, and instructional designers to visualize learning objectives. Understanding of content adaptation for different formats and platforms, including e-learning, social media, and mobile. Familiar with asset preparation, rendering pipelines, and file optimization for video and web delivery. Ability to apply consistent visual style and branding guidelines across multiple animation projects. Experience working with sound design and editing teams to synchronize visuals with audio tracks. Knowledge of project scheduling, version control, and feedback implementation in an iterative production process. Basic understanding of marketing and explainer animation for educational products or campaigns. Strong attention to visual clarity and instructional purpose in all creative outputs. Seniority Level
