Interim Assistant Headteacher

A specialist all-through school is seeking an Interim Assistant Headteacher to join their dedicated and supportive team immediately through to Easter 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a setting that supports pupils with ASD, SEN, and SEMH needs. The school prides itself on its nurturing ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to providing high-quality education for every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the school
• Support the Headteacher and SLT in driving school improvement
• Lead on behaviour, safeguarding, or curriculum areas as required
• Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and families

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Proven leadership experience within a specialist or inclusive setting
• Strong understanding of ASD, SEN, and SEMH provision
• Ability to lead with empathy, clarity, and high expectations
