The Role
The Directorate of Navy Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated and organised professional to join a small, dynamic team operating in a fast-paced environment. As the EL1 Deputy Director Strategic Planning – Sea Mark Implementation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Navy’s Maritime Infrastructure Strategy.
In this role, you will support the Director in coordinating and driving Sea Mark priorities, managing governance frameworks, and providing high-level administrative support to senior committees and forums. You will be responsible for preparing strategic briefs, presentations, and other supporting materials that enable informed decision-making.
You will lead and manage complex governance, administrative, and business functions that underpin the Directorate’s operations. This includes providing strategic leadership to the Director General Navy Logistics administration team, ensuring alignment with broader Defence priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Your ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders is a key strength, enabling you to build and maintain productive relationships across Defence, Government, and industry. You communicate with clarity and influence, both in writing and verbally, and have demonstrated experience in preparing briefs and correspondence for senior leaders, as well as coordinating high-level meetings and engagements.
Your judgement is sound and trusted. You are proactive in identifying risks and issues, and take appropriate action to mitigate and resolve them. You are adept at solving complex problems and managing sensitive projects with discretion and strategic insight.
