As an Azure Integration Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in architecting enterprise integration solutions and custom applications on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your primary objective will be to address our clients' business challenges by leveraging the diverse offerings within the Microsoft cloud portfolio. Collaborating closely with client stakeholders, business analysts, project managers, and practice leads, you will design comprehensive end‑to‑end solutions on Azure. This position will involve a balanced focus on both pre‑sales activities and project delivery, ensuring the seamless transition from solution design to successful implementation. You will be accountable for the following competencies: Supporting the business development team throughout the bid process; conduct client discovery workshops, perform client integration and application landscape assessment, gather business requirements, gather infrastructure, integration, bespoke .Net, and DevOps requirements, identify and elicit non‑functional requirements, create architectural views and artefacts, create detailed estimation and staffing models, assist with the development of proposals and Statements of Work (SOW). Consulting with clients; to understand their needs, navigate them through their cloud transformation (infrastructure modernisation and app transformation) journey, influence decisions and advise the Project Management team of the recommended approach to deliver outcomes that are in the client's best interests. Performing Architecture and Engineering functions; lead and support other technical consultants in projects; own and deliver technology strategies, roadmaps and designs; writing technical specifications, automation routines; performing hands‑on cloud deployments, assessments, cost optimisation, security baseline assessments and migrations in accordance with the customers business and technical requirements.

Experience and skillset required to be successful:

10+ years IT experience including Azure cloud experience

Proven experience selling consulting engagements including business case, estimating, scoping and contributing to writing statements of work

Facilitation of client design workshops and awareness sessions, focusing on cloud enterprise integration (Service Bus, LogicApps, Azure Data Factory), cloud transformation (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), cloud native app architecture and design, bespoke .Net (applications, APIs, Functions), and DevOps.

Architecting solutions by mapping client business problems and mapping end‑to‑end technology solutions with associated strategies, roadmaps and designs

Experience implementing Microsoft Cloud technologies, including large and complex Azure integrations and Azure based application delivery

Experience delivering large scale, enterprise level IT projects, end to end

Expertise in design, implementation and optimisation of ICT processes, organisations and systems (desirable)

Nice to have – Experience in engaging Microsoft (both Australia and globally) across sales, product management and engineering as a partner
