ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a fast growing global customer experience and technology business providing outsourced CX, digital engagement, and operational support solutions across Australia, the United States, and the Philippines. Their focus on innovation, technology, and people has underpinned strong growth and created an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Head of Finance and Commercial to join the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the CEO/Co Founder this role will lead the finance and commercial function across the group, overseeing accounting, reporting, forecasting, and commercial decision support. You will work closely with leaders across Australia, Manila, and the United States to ensure financial governance, cash flow stability, and data driven insight into business performance.

This is a hands on leadership role suited to a capable finance professional who enjoys driving systems, process improvement, and team capability. The focus will be on strengthening financial management and improving operational efficiency, rather than large scale capital projects or M&A activity.

You will lead a small local team as well as offshore finance support, guiding their work across reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The role is flexible and can be based in Melbourne with regular time in their Mornington Peninsula office.

Please note that this role could be suited as a full time or part time opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Manage and mentor the finance team in Australia and the Philippines

Develop robust financial models, dashboards, and performance metrics

Improve internal processes and reporting frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Partner with leadership on strategic and operational planning

Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

Oversee commercial analysis, pricing support, and client profitability reporting

Manage risk, contracts, and insurance, engaging external advisors as needed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

CA or CPA qualified with at least 10 years of senior finance experience

Demonstrated success in leading finance teams across multi site or international operations

Strong background in financial reporting, cash flow management, and forecasting

Skilled in system and process improvement, with experience developing dashboards and BI reporting

Hands on, collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills

Commercially aware, pragmatic, and capable of operating in a fast paced growth environment
