Job Description
We’re hiring a Facilities Manager for our client, a leading educational organisation with multiple campuses.
As the Facilities Manager, your responsibilities would be:
- Oversee day-to-day campus facility operations across all locations, ensuring timely maintenance of buildings, classrooms, and infrastructure.
- Manage housekeeping, security, and campus ambience while leading teams of technicians and support staff.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, monitor AMC contracts, and manage facility-related consumables.
- Ensure statutory compliance for facilities, fire safety, and building codes, including liaising with government authorities.
- Manage facility budgets, drive cost-optimisation initiatives, and maintain asset registers.
Requirements
- 6 –12 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven ability to manage multi-location facilities, with a preference for experience in schools or educational institutions.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, safety norms, vendor management, and statutory compliance.
- Experience standardising processes and SOPs across multiple units.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with principals, admin staff, and operations teams.
- Ethical conduct with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
