Highly developed leadership skills to manage effective project teams and drive performance for successful program delivery and strategic outcomes.

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing innovative, fit‑for‑purpose procurement technology solutions.

Strong knowledge and experience in best practice program management approaches and frameworks.

A deep understanding of key issues, trends, and innovative approaches in technology solutions that support procurement processes and outcomes.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate with influence, and achieve strong program outcomes.

Advanced research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data to support program delivery.

Demonstrated ability to manage risks, anticipate priorities, and strategically plan to meet program requirements effectively.

About the Department The Department of Housing and Public Works delivers a range of housing, building and procurement services. It works to ensure that our most in‑need Queenslanders have access to housing and homelessness assistance, provided through government‑owned and managed social housing, and grant funding to registered providers. The department also helps thousands of low‑income earners to enter and remain in the private rental market.

Another key focus for the department is to provide policy, advice and delivery of services to government agencies in the areas of construction, asset and facilities management, procurement and fleet management.

The department consists of five major areas: Housing and Homelessness Services, Public Works and Asset Management, Building Industry and Policy, Queensland Government Procurement and Corporate Services.
