JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated and driven Senior Software Developer to work 100% Remotely to support enterprise IT for our War‑fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Will research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Will work independently in the analysis of user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Will update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
Will be performing application modernization.
Will be migrating to DevOps/DevSecOps.
Will work with computer Hardware Engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Will maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Will provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer‑based scientific, technical, and business software systems.
Will use expertise to design, develop, code, test, and debug software.
May work in one or several areas, such as equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis, and modeling.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of software, application, and web development experience.
5+ years of experience changing applications from Oracle to SQL Server 2017.
Experience working with application modernization, (.Net, C#, ASP.Net Core).
Experience with other Software Tools/Technologies (not all required): Oracle PL/SQL, Transact SQL, Web Forms, HTML5, CSS 3.0, jQuery, Node.js, JavaScript, VBScript, Object Oriented Programming, ODBC, JDBC, OLE, Visual Studio, IIS, Oracle 11g/12c/19c, Remedy, JDK, Toad, UNIX, SQL Plus, ExtraView, UML, .NET Framework, NetBeans, Apache Tomcat, Apache Struts MVC, Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, Apache Subversion, Git
Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, is a plus.

EDUCATION
BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology. Allowable Substitution: 6 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience with an AA/AS degree

COMPENSATION
The likely salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of total compensation or salary or any other compensation offered. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Rollout Systems offers a variety of benefits including health insurance with domestic partner coverage, company‑funded health savings account and life and disability insurances, 401(k) matching, 401(k) profit‑sharing, education assistance, paid time off, and paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, location, and schedule type.
