The School of Population & Global Health (SPGH) is a research‑intensive academic organisation that believes excellence in research underpins excellence in education and community partnerships. SPGH provides an evidence‑based approach to research and education that influences policy and practice development, supporting staff and students in improving community health and wellbeing.
About the Opportunity
The Professor of Public Health will provide strategic leadership in public health teaching and research. The successful candidate will:
Design, deliver, and assess high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate public health courses.
Lead and manage original research projects and secure external funding.
Supervise PhD and postgraduate students and post‑doctoral researchers.
Contribute to the academic environment of SPGH and UWA, including departmental and university committees.
Collaborate with colleagues across UWA and with external partners to enhance research and teaching.
