The Roles
Associate Professor in Agriculture
Lead impactful research and teaching in sustainable, productive, and climate‑smart agriculture. Potential focus areas include:
Crop systems and plant health
Pest management and precision/digital agriculture
Soils and water, systems modelling, agronomy, or ag‑economics and agribusiness
Associate Professor in Agricultural Biotechnology
Advance cutting‑edge biotechnologies to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. Potential areas of strength include:
Plant or animal genomics, gene editing or synthetic biology
Plant‑microbiome interactions, metabolomics, or bio‑based product innovation
What You’ll Do
Build and lead an internationally recognised, well‑funded research program. Publish at the highest level and drive multidisciplinary and industry‑linked projects. Mentor early‑career researchers and PhD students. Shape innovative curricula and deliver outstanding learning experiences. Contribute to the leadership and inclusive culture of SAFES.
