Job Description

The Luxury and Latin Manager is responsible for managing all supervisors and travel consultants in the Luxury and Latin department who handle files for all our B2B accounts in Luxury designated and Latin markets. The department manages every aspect of the files, including sales and reservations, ensuring smooth daily operations and achievement of sales objectives. Responsibilities: Handle VIP files or assist with complex files, especially for Luxury clients. Coordinate with management across operations, ticketing, accounting, and product management to optimize sales conversion ratios. Develop client databases, prospect new clients, and respond to tenders. Maintain meetings with Key Accounts as needed (FAM trips, trade shows, office visits, etc.). Manage refunds or discounts in accordance with terms and conditions. Build and maintain good relationships with partners and clients. Provide product advice and expertise to agents, both new and existing. Create new products with the Product Manager for Luxury and Latin Markets. Liaise with EXO Sales Office and Regional Luxury and Latin coordinators. Manage staff including supervisors and senior travel consultants, ensuring team performance. Stay informed of all operational aspects within the department. Assist in training new staff, focusing on organizational, sales techniques, and company policies. Resolve issues related to files, quotations, reservations, invoicing, or after-sales service; establish and communicate guidelines for quality service. Supervise B2B travel correspondence during key occasions. Oversee travel inquiries, guide staff, and ensure accuracy in client communication. Evaluate travel agent performance monthly and implement strategies to increase volume and profitability. Conduct quarterly meetings on new products and client advising strategies. Coordinate with senior management on sensitive cases and report solutions promptly. Train new staff on processes, resources, and program creation and quoting. Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures. Perform annual staff assessments and recommend improvements. Identify training needs and oversee training implementation. Manage account follow-ups, report nonpayment, and initiate corrective actions. Coordinate with accounting on payments and alert management of nonpayment issues. Important: You will also handle the 24/7 Emergency Line for Luxury, Latin, and SP departments, ensuring fair rotation with your supervisor. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred but not required. Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is a plus. Excellent negotiation, organization, and reliability skills. Analytical mindset with strong business acumen. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with tourism experience essential. Experience in a reputable travel and tours company preferred.
