Manufacturing Engineer – Freelance | On‑Site in Milan

We’re looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support industrial‑sector customers in optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement. If you enjoy hands‑on work in a dynamic environment and have experience with process design and troubleshooting, this role could be a great match.

What You’ll Do Improve and optimize production processes (continuous improvement, waste reduction, efficiency increase) Support industrialization of new products: cycles, work instructions, time/method definitions Provide technical support to production for troubleshooting and non‑conformities Contribute to quality improvement initiatives Select and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and safety What We’re Looking For Degree in Mechanical, Management, or Automation Engineering 2–3 years of experience in: Production process design Troubleshooting Lean & Six Sigma methodologies Mandatory experience with strain gauges or gluing/resining processes Strong problem‑solving mindset and hands‑on approach Fluent in Italian and English (B1 or B2) Role Details Freelance collaboration welcome 100% on‑site at the customer’s location (Milan) No remote work No sensitive data processing Laptop not provided If you’re a proactive Manufacturing Engineer looking for a hands‑on freelance opportunity in Milan, we’d love to connect and tell you more.
