Global Leader, University Marketing and Campus Engagement, Amazon University Talent Acquisition
As a senior leader within Amazon's University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) organization, the Sr. Manager of University Marketing, Outreach, & Engagement will drive Amazon's global school engagement and marketing strategy across hundreds of universities worldwide. This role is pivotal in shaping and elevating Amazon's employer brand presence on campuses, positioning the company as the employer of choice for top student talent while building strategic partnerships that influence future talent pipelines.
Directly leading a team of school outreach and marketing professionals while indirectly leading University Relations Leads (URLs) who manage key relationships with universities, this role oversees the strategic direction and successful management of campus brand ambassadors and executive school captain programs. It fosters a culture of innovation and strategic thinking within the team and collaborates cross-functionally with program teams, recruiting, experience, and digital marketing teams to ensure alignment and impact across the campus ecosystem. The leader builds messaging frameworks and collaborates with PR and legal teams for crisis communications and general communications, ensuring recruiters can communicate swiftly, clearly, and effectively.
Developing and leading a comprehensive recruitment marketing strategy that drives inquiry generation, application growth, and hiring outcomes in alignment with Amazon’s brand on university campuses worldwide, the Sr. Manager leverages market research, demographic analysis, and digital engagement data to identify growth opportunities and refine recruitment marketing strategies. The role also supports recruiters in adopting and translating data-driven insights into day‑to‑day engagement with prospective students, ensuring seamless integration between marketing strategy and front‑line recruitment execution.
Key Job Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Marketing: Drive university outreach and marketing strategy aligned to Amazon’s student talent positioning, ensuring brand consistency across all campus engagement channels.
Leverage data‑driven insights to resonate with Generation Z and Alpha talent segments.
Position Amazon as employer of choice in emerging technology fields including Generative AI and robotics.
Monitor employer brand trends, competitive landscape, and talent market shifts.
Strategic Partnerships & Engagement: Build strategic partnerships with university leadership, faculty, and career services to influence curriculum and identify top talent.
Collaborate with senior leaders on academic partnerships and campus initiatives.
Develop data‑sharing university partnership models to optimize engagement effectiveness.
Program Development & Execution: Oversee innovative campus programs including technical events, case competitions, and executive speaking engagements.
Design programs delivering meaningful experiences that drive talent attraction, engagement, and retention.
Align campus initiatives with business objectives and measurable results.
Measurement & Marketing Optimization: Develop metrics and analytics frameworks measuring school engagement effectiveness.
Optimize programs based on data‑driven insights and ROI.
Allocate resources to maximize marketing campaign ROI.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in digital media/marketing strategy, data analysis, analytics & visualization.
Master's degree, or experience using data to influence business decisions.
Proven track record building and managing strategic partnerships with educational institutions.

The base salary range for this position is 156,100.00–211,200.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
