Customer Service Representative - German

Nordson EFD is a leading provider of precision fluid dispensing systems and is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated German‑speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team in Maastricht, Netherlands.

Job Summary You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas and contributions are valued and respected. You will be responsible for order entry and follow‑up with customers, including preparing quotes for spares and machines, and serving as the main interface with distributors, sales engineers, technical service managers, and sales managers.

Role and Responsibilities

Complete requests received via phone or electronically from internal and external customers

Create and manage standard quotations, sales orders, and returns in SAP in a timely manner according to established goals

Handle internal and external customer inquiries regarding order status, inventory availability, delivery status, and pricing

Process international transactions and requests

Follow correct processes to communicate with other Nordson teams to solve problems and obtain needed information

Learn and follow all customer service procedures and policies

Use Nordson case‑management technology to retrieve and update status of each task assignment

Review case‑management requests to assign priority status and route to the correct customer‑service desk

Identify opportunities to enhance and improve daily tasksBase performance standards against established metrics to drive performance improvements

Conduct yourself in a way that fosters a positive, supportive, and professional work environment in which everyone is treated with dignity and respect

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum MBO+ degree (commercial or logistics)

General knowledge of business and work processes (supply chain)

Relevant experience in a customer‑service or business environment

Computer‑literate with advanced knowledge of MS Office

German language skills (written and verbal) required; English verbal skills required; Italian language skills preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

SAP system knowledge preferred
