Senior Account Manager - Plating Business Unit: MEISDivision: Industrial CORE - Business MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions operates as a business unit of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI), a leading specialty chemicals company. We are a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries, designing and manufacturing chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. We are seeking a permanent, full‑time, highly motivated Account Manager to work primarily in the Northern Italy area, supporting the Business Manager in operational activities and providing technical and service solutions while developing long‑term partnerships. This position is located in San Martino di Trecate (NO), Italy. What will you be doing?

Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, including technical support. Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. Prepare reports on account status. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. Identify new prospects in the territory and opportunities within existing accounts using an ATLAS (Salesforce) driven approach.

Who are you?

Minimum qualification: Diploma of Chemistry. Outside sales position; travel required. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Good knowledge of office package preferred.

What competencies will you need?

Experience in a similar technical or sales role, ideally with industrial chemical manufacturing products. Experience with an applicator is a plus. Strong ability to build relationships and leverage customer and internal networks. Professional, positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

We are Offering... You will be employed with the National Contract of Chemists (CCNL Chimico) with the possibility to subscribe to the related Health and Pension funds (FASCHIM and FONCHIM). You will receive a competitive base salary, a generous performance‑related bonus scheme, and a yearly welfare plan. Company car, mobile phone, laptop, and access to the company canteen are included. Working time: 38 hours/week (Mon‑Thu 8:30‑12:30, 13:30‑17:30; Fri 8:30‑12:30, 13:30‑15:30).
