Information security specialist (permanent)

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Specialist to join a fast‑paced, enterprise environment in Milan. This is an onsite role, five days a week, supporting security operations and remediation activities across multiple European locations.

Role Overview You will manage a range of security management activities assigned by the Info Sec department, coordinating remediation efforts across Europe and working closely with local support teams. This is a hands‑on position requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in both Italian and English.

Key Responsibilities

Lead remediation of vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing and Qualys scanning Manage operating system lifecycle and obsolescence Investigate and handle security incidents detected by monitoring tools Implement security improvement initiatives involving firewalls, authentication, network segmentation, and related areas Support efforts to maintain the security level required by internal Info Sec standards Collaborate with IT, Info Sec, application teams, and occasionally engage directly with customers Produce clear written documentation and reports Technical Skills

Network security (firewalls, TCP/IP) Cloud security practices Penetration testing, SIEM, and EDR tools Cryptography Windows and Linux administration Requirements
