Global R&D Packaging Innovation Specialist

Adecco Italia SpA, for a Multinational Company based in Italy, is looking for a:

Global R&D Packaging Innovation Specialist

The position will play a crucial role in supporting the Global R&D Team and you will be responsible for leading packaging development and innovation initiatives, managing multiple project in dynamic and multinational environment.

Main Activities: Analysis of the project briefs in the PLM platform; Scouting of Innovative Packaging solutions; Definition of primary packaging alternatives in partnership with suppliers, in order to have support for developments; Shelf life tests on the Primary Packaging; Definition of secondary packaging and end of line (shipper, pallet plan, etc.); Samples preparation and cost evaluation; Coordinate the execution of the New Product Developments and sustainable projects pipeline across the manufacturing countries; Guarantee the implementation if the projects in collaboration with interfunctional team; Technical sheet and packaging specification preparation.

Requirements: Education: Master Degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry or similar; Work Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role; Technical Skills: Good knowledge of packaging development preferably in Food Industry; Language: Proficiency in Italian and English is required, Spanish is nice to have; Avalilability to travel; Good knowledge of circular economy principles; Ability to lead multiple projects.
