Como, Italia On-site presence will be required 2/3 days per week.

Positions:

EMC Engineer We are seeking an EMC Engineer with relevant expertise in EMC Design, Control, and Verification, preferably within the Space sector. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to autonomously engage in all activities related to ensuring EMC at the system, sub-system, and equipment levels. A foundational understanding of charging effects induced by the space environment is also desirable. The candidate should be proficient in creating comprehensive documentation for System, Sub-System & Equipment EMC/ESD (Specifications, Control Plans, Test planning & reporting, and analyses). Direct experience in EMC troubleshooting in a laboratory setting, particularly for pre-compliance and/or compliance testing according to ECSS or MIL standards, would be advantageous.

Requirements: At least 3 years of experience on the requested discipline Experience with EMC System level analysis focused on system level requirements and specifications (equipment design, unit testing, launcher site compatibility, EGSE, etc.) Experience with EMC analyses either for conducted or radiated EMI cases Capability to draft and evaluate documentation pertaining to EMC verification tests at equipment, subsystem and system level Full autonomy in using Instrumentation for Electrical and EMC testing (e.g. frequency and time domain, emission and susceptibility tests) Familiarity with Space Standards (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-20-07C/-20-06C, MIL-STD-461G) Experience with Institutional Programs xpavfwm in the Space Field Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written) Excellent knowledge of Italian language (spoken and written)

Nice to have: Sound knowledge of electromagnetic theory and radio-frequency signal propagation theory 3D Full Wave electromagnetic simulation including coupling, crosstalk evaluation and RFC Organizational skills and teamworking attitude Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
