Freelance Data Analyst (Power BI Specialist) Remote (Italy-based) Contract: Freelance 6–12 months + possible extension Daily Rate: Negotiable About the Role: We are partnering with a leading financial services company seeking a Senior Freelance Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to support strategic reporting and financial analytics initiatives. This is a fully remote position (Italy-based candidates only), requiring fluency in Italian and proven experience working within financial environments. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders Build and optimise data models (DAX, Power Query, data transformations) Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Business teams to define KPIs and reporting needs Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards Support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis Improve existing BI architecture and reporting efficiency

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / BI Analyst Proven experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or fintech Advanced Power BI (mandatory) SQL (advanced level) Experience with large datasets and data warehouse environments Microsoft Certified: Power BI (mandatory) Fluent Italian (spoken and written) Professional English (preferred) Freelance contract Duration: 6–12 months with high likelihood of extension Fully remote (Italy-based) Competitive and negotiable daily rate
