We are looking for

Senior IBM i System Administrator

and you will be responsible for the design, development, administration, and maintenance of software components and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

A dministration of iSeries/IBM i systems, including LPAR management, virtual resources, and HW/SW configurations. Installation, tuning, and troubleshooting of

IBM MQ ; backup management and recovery policies via

IBM BRMS . Management of jobs, subsystems, and process automation to ensure operational efficiency and high performance. Continuous system tuning, log analysis, and performance monitoring to resolve operational anomalies and provide periodic reporting. Implementation of system security (users, authorizations, auditing) and management of

High Availability (HA)

and

Disaster Recovery (DR)

processes. Management of

PTF (Program Temporary Fix)

patches and integration with SAN infrastructures and external systems.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in managing production

IBM i

environments and full-stack development tasks. Preferred experience with

TANGO04

(monitoring),

MAXAVA

(HA/Replication), and

GoAnywhere

(MFT). Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems; familiarity with

OpenShift

is a plus. Basic

CL (Control Language)

programming skills; knowledge of C++ or Java is an advantage. Availability for

24/7 on-call duty

on a rotational basis and extraordinary activities (e.g., Saturday maintenance). Proficient in Agile development and familiar with Incident, Problem, and Change Management procedures (SLAs/Escalation).
