function. Key Activities & Responsibilities The

Civil & Structural

Design Engineer

will cooperate in all the civil and structural related issues that concern the Project and the Department Discipline activities. In particular the main activities and duties will be:

to perform steel and reinforced concrete structural design for the development of Project deliverables; to collaborate in structural detail design, as part of an international Team, according to the directives given by the Discipline Leader and in accordance with International and Local Codes. to assess design (calculations and drawings) performed by other professionals or engineering centers, to evaluate correctness and explore optimization possibilities; to prepare technical documents and manuals, such as Company standards and procedures; to exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques; to keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline, especially for what new methodologies and software are concerned. Personal attributes:

Master’s degree in structural engineering is requested; thesis relevant to computational analysis of steel or concrete structures is preferred; knowledge of technical software like Staad Pro, Sap2000, Idea Statika, Mathcad; team working and a good attitude to cooperate with other colleagues; fluent English speaker and writer; availability to travel for short/long periods in international and multicultural environment.
