Position Summary
As a Packaging Production Manager, you will lead and own the end-to-end results of all packaging production lines, ensuring that production and maintenance plans are fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements, that means also meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental needs.
You will be the ultimate responsible to develop the autonomy of the shop floor operational teams (around 50 people considering direct and indirect reports)

A Day in the life of a Packaging Production Manager
Responsible to establish the manufacturing reliability required level to meet the business needs on Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
Lead Problem Solving activities necessary to identify the root causes of quality defects, incidents and eliminate losses.
Drive improvement in labour efficiency
Invests time coaching on the floor, monitoring compliance with opening standards and checking the management of the key standard routines;
Responsible for budget preparation and adherence
Development of people and performance reviews of the teams
Responsible for monitoring the performance indicators of the pack area
Coach and promote breakdown analysis
Ensures availability of maintenance resources to implement and execute maintenance routines, methodologies.
Promote maintenance methodologies competencies to eliminate quality defects, safety risk and chronic technical issues
What will make you successful?
Degree in Engineering, food technologies or equivalent
At least 3 – 5 years of experience in Operations and Team leading roles (Manufacturing or Production Leader)
People Management experience
Strong engaging and leadership skills
Knowledge of Lean/TPM methodologies
Able to influence ad bring results through others
Availability to relocate in Italy or abroad for future assignments and career developments
Fluent in English and Italian.
