Senior electrical engineer

Role Summary: Lead and coordinate the electrical engineering design, technical oversight, installation support, and integrated commissioning of LV and MV power systems for large-scale data centre facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead electrical design review and coordination for

MV/LV power distribution

, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generator and earthing systems.

Provide

technical oversight during construction, installation and commissioning

, supporting integrated delivery with civil, mechanical, commissioning and project management teams.

Review and approve electrical design submissions, method statements, test plans, and commissioning procedures. Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (IEC/IEEE) and project performance criteria. Liaise with clients, consultants, utility providers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to solve technical challenges and support milestone delivery. Support quality, safety and documentation control through inspections, FAT/SAT activities and final handover. Typical Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar. Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure, protection systems, redundancy principles and power distribution design. Excellent stakeholder coordination, problem-solving and communication skills. Client requires Italian language fluency.
