Angelini Pharma is seeking for Global Marketing & Communication Procurement, a Global Category Manager Creative Agencies, Events & Travel as part of the team for 12 months time maternity leave. As part of the Global Commercial & Corporate Procurement team and in alignment with the Marketing & Communication Procurement Head, the resource will support the development and the implementation of the most appropriate sourcing strategies which maximize customer value for money through negotiation and contracting processes, and constantly investigate opportunities for improvement, impacting on an international panorama which counts all Angelini Pharma Countries (mainly EU region).
Spend reference Creative Agencies 6-8M € (ATL 40%, PR 10%, Production house 10%, Communications 20%, Others 20%), Events & Travel 24 M€ (24% Business Travel, 8% Internal meeting, 68% Scientific events and congresses).
Key activities
Drive Category Strategy for Marketing Communications, Business Travel and Events areas and execute at Italy and Global HQ level.
Negotiation and contract management on cross-channel suppliers: Creative, Digital, Events & Travel.
Local stakeholders management and support strategic evaluation to achieve company targets.
Develop strategy and projects to drive business results and achieve savings target.
Lead 2 Global Buyers focusing respectively on Creative Agencies and Events & Travel to execute the projects by target.
Aims and purposes
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, both on Local and Global level, to ensure an efficient, effective and continuous supply of Creativity, Events & Travel.
Leverage and improve ongoing partnership with most strategic suppliers and ensure compliance in tenders management (from drafting RFPs to proposals’ evaluation, partners’ selection and tender’s awarding).
Overseeing Contract Management flow in accordance to related procedures and in collaboration with dedicated functions (Admin, Legal, Compliance, DPO etc..).
Develop and implement cost-based reduction strategies capable of delivering annual target savings.
Analyze spending and constantly benchmark services costs to provide support to Marketing functions in building/structuring the budget during the forecasting revision within the year.
Drive the global consolidation of the global travel model in Angelini Pharma Geographies
Build effective supplier relationships and ensure high level of communication.
Usage of procurement platforms like Procunity / Bravo solution.
Desired profile
Main Requirements
Excellent negotiation skills and very confident in dealing with suppliers with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
Good capability to use Procurement platforms (Procunity, or procurement intelligence.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills both with external and internal stakeholders.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills, critical thinking with a performance-oriented drive.
Good written and spoken Italian and English.
Hybrid or Remote with possible meetings in person.
