Sr. BI Engineer Remote - US

Key Accountabilities

Develop and maintain data sources, reports, and dashboards with high visual appeal, data accuracy, and performance for the company’s internal business data. Facilitate more accurate and automated reporting and analysis, analyze and address data and performance issues, and fix Sisense dashboards and embedded code. Coordinate with team members in key departments (Product, Application Development, Database Administration, CR BillMax) to identify information needs and translate them into data visualizations. As a part of the BI Team, you will:

Work within an Agile Development process. Create and manage analytical and operational dashboards, KPIs, and repeatable reports for external and internal users. Serve as the first line of support for Sisense-related questions and issues. Provide training sessions as needed. Facilitate bidirectional communication with various functions and departments. Create design templates and standards when needed. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to enhance reporting and build out data sources and visualizations for self‑service, trend analysis, and insight. Participate in cross‑functional initiatives, defining KPIs and reporting needs with finance, sales, operations, marketing, product, engineering, and other teams. Example Projects You Might Work On

Develop new data models/cubes for clinical and financial analytics. Maintain, refactor, and optimize performance of existing dashboards and data sources. Create widgets and dashboards that provide aggregate and detailed data from existing data models. Use Python to interact with Sisense and SQL to implement automated activities. Use AI development tools such as Dify.AI or n8n.IO to build AI‑enabled analytics. Desired Skills and Experience

5+ years of SQL experience with ability to read and understand complex data structures. 3+ years of major BI tool experience (Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) with advanced calculation, visualization, and troubleshooting skills. 2+ years of Python scripting/development. Willingness to learn and master Sisense development. Familiarity with server‑based reporting and development (publishing, scheduling, user access permissions). Strong preference for experience with Sisense development. Personal and Team Skills

Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize work in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment. Experience leading insight and analysis projects from briefing to delivery. Excellent communication skills, able to convey financial concepts to both financial and non‑financial audiences. Team player who achieves corporate objectives while working efficiently under tight time constraints. Knowledgeable of dashboard performance optimization techniques. Ability to work independently with a proactive, risk‑mitigation approach. Experience with quality assurance and application development lifecycle. Experience working with key departments such as Operations, Customer Support, Product Management, Sales, and Finance. Salary & Benefits
