Junior HSE Advisor

The Company:

OXBO are supporting a rapidly expanding renewable energy developer focused on utility scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects across Italy.

With multiple projects under construction and a significant authorised pipeline, they are looking to hire a Junior HSE Advisor to join their offices in Rome.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HSE Professional looking to develop their career. In this role you will work closely with the HSE Manager to support the project pipeline across Italy.

The Role:

Ensure compliance with national HSE regulations across construction sites.

Monitor HSE performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Support the implementation of HSE practices throughout development, construction, and operational phases.

Conduct investigations into accidents and non-conformities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation and records.

Requirements:

Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.

Minimum 1 year of experience as CSP/CSE or Assistant CSP/CSE on construction sites.

Strong knowledge of national HSE regulations.

Ability to carry out HSE inspections independently.

Good knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with Integrated Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) Fluent in Italian and a good command of English.

Ideal But Not Required:

HSEQ certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) will be considered a plus.

CSP/CSE qualification will be considered a plus.
