Located in the heart of Tuscany, Tenuta Toscana represents one of the most scenic and technically advanced golf facilities in Europe. The course is maintained to the highest international standards, providing an exceptional playing experience for members and guests.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Golf Gardener Greenkeeper

to join the agronomy team at Tenuta Toscana.

Main duties and responsibilities :

Perform advanced turf maintenance tasks, including mowing, rolling, topdressing, coring, and bunker care.

Operate and carefully maintain a wide range of golf course-specific machinery (mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and maintenance equipment).

Prepare the course by changing holes, moving tee markers, and checking surface quality, following established operating procedures.

Support irrigation system management, including hand-watering and moisture control.

Apply fertilizers, soil conditioners, and plant protection products under supervision, adhering to safety procedures.

Identify and promptly report any issues related to turf health, pests, diseases, or equipment malfunctions.

Maintain order and professionalism in work areas and contribute to the overall presentation of the course.

Comply with all safety procedures and contribute to a culture of environmental responsibility.

Requirements :

Previous experience in golf course maintenance (preferred) or professional turf maintenance.

Ability to use major turf maintenance equipment.

Solid knowledge of turf care practices and the quality standards required in high-end facilities.

High attention to detail and precision in work execution.

Fluency in English.

This position is based in Tuscany. Availability of staff accommodation upon request. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
