We are partnering with an innovative and growing manufacturer of industrial sensor solutions, supporting OEMs and industrial customers across key sectors including automation, machinery, energy, and transportation.
Due to continued growth in the Italian market, they are seeking an experienced
Senior Sales Engineer
to drive business development, manage key accounts, and expand their presence across strategic industrial sectors.
The Role
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing OEM and industrial customers across Italy. You will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored sensor solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and industrial customers
Driving new business development and identifying growth opportunities
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Providing technical consultation and solution-based sales support
Working closely with engineering and product teams to align solutions with customer needs
Managing sales forecasts, pipeline, and account plans
Requirements
Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or business development
Experience selling
industrial sensors, automation components, or technical industrial products
Strong experience working with OEMs or industrial customers
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and technical discussions
Strong commercial and relationship-building skills
Fluent Italian and professional English
Based in Italy and willing to travel
Nice to Have
Experience with sensor technologies (position, temperature, pressure, current, or safety sensors)
Experience in industrial automation, machinery, automotive, or energy sectors
Engineering or technical background
