We’re seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Assistant to support our drone delivery operations through ground support activities, basic operational tasks, and community engagement.Key Job ResponsibilitiesSupport daily drone operations by handling and organizing equipment, including batteries and related componentsMonitor airspace in the area of operations and report any potential hazards or obstaclesAssist with basic warehouse tasks including inventory management and package preparationExecute standard operating procedures while maintaining safety and compliance standardsEngage positively with community members and address basic inquiries about our operationsDocument and report operational activities using standard templates and toolsSafely and efficiently deliver packages to customers by car, ensuring on‑time arrival, accurate handling, and providing excellent service while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety standardsPhysical and Work ConditionsCarry or lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork outside in various weather conditionsWork any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidaysWork in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather (outside temperature, and include refrigerated environments)May require travel, up to 25% of the timeExport Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.This position will be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.
