R&D Manager - Plastics Compounds

Resina Partners Resina Partners is supporting an Italian plastics compounder in the search for a Senior R&D / Technical Manager to join during a key phase of transformation and growth.

The company: A solid, family-owned business specialized in plastics compounds.

The role: Reporting directly to the owners and senior management, you will take responsibility for coordinating and developing the R&D / technical department of the group.

Depending on seniority and capability, the scope may include:

Immediate coordination of all technical activities, or

A phased growth into a technical leadership role.

Your mission will be to restructure laboratories, clarify responsibilities, drive results, and elevate the technical function.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in R&D of plastics compounds

Strong technical credibility combined with leadership and people‑management skills

Comfortable working in evolving, non‑corporate environments

Open to hands‑on involvement, not a purely desk‑based role

Fluent English
