Cloud Operations & Infrastructure Specialist Responsible for operating and managing the IoT Cloud Infrastructure platforms and the vendor hardware where it runs, supporting and continuously improving according to Vodafone requirements and needs. Maintain IoT Cloud critical environment for Vodafone. Perform troubleshooting, fault handling and implement temporary work‑arounds and permanent corrective actions. Engage with third‑party support (hardware or software vendors) to ensure problems are solved within the expected time frames. Apply daily routine monitoring and health checks on the systems. Implement automated incident detection and optimize system monitoring. Participate in new project activities, providing input and solution delivery acceptance, implementing or verifying improvements in processes and work instructions, and verifying configuration changes. Interact with customer technical staff, NOC engineers, operation managers and other groups within Service Delivery organization.

Who You Are

General know‑how of Telco Cloud, CaaS/PaaS/IaaS technologies. Appreciated knowledge of VMware and RedHat Linux. Knowledge of compute, storage, SANs, network and their maintenance. Knowledge of containerised functions, Kubernetes cluster management. Knowledge of automation solutions and scripting/programming languages such as Ansible, Git, Python, Grafana. Preferred experience working in an enterprise environment for problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis processes. Good team player, problem solver and strong attitude for learning new technologies and methodologies. Ability to perform in stressful and emergency conditions. Fluency in English. Preferred (not mandatory) technical certifications.
