Job Description

The mobile application for connected cars revolutionises user interactions with their vehicles, offering real‑time control, monitoring, advanced navigation, and seamless integrations for a superior ownership experience. As a Mobile App developer, you will design and build innovative iOS/Android applications, ensuring high performance, stability, and maintainability in a cross‑functional, cross‑geographical environment.

Main Activities

- Design and develop mobile applications for connected vehicles, prioritising UI/UX design principles.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to gather requirements and define features and functionalities.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that delivers high performance and reliability.

- Integrate mobile apps with the connected‑vehicle platform using APIs and SDKs to enable seamless communication and data exchange.

- Conduct automated testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to mobile app development for connected vehicles.

- Work closely with QA to validate and guarantee application quality.

- Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and battery efficiency.

Profile

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven 7+ years of mobile app development experience for iOS or Android, with a strong portfolio of released applications.

- Excellent proficiency in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android).

- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, TeamCity or GitHub Actions.

- Experience integrating mobile apps with cloud services and external APIs or SDKs; IoT experience is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams.

- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.

- Passion for connected‑vehicle technologies and the automotive industry is a plus.

Location: TURIN, Italy

Minimum level of experience required: 3–5 years.
