Role Description This is a on site position/consultancy role for a Radio Frequency Engineer based in Rome. The role involves designing and analyzing radio frequency (RF) systems, developing and testing RF circuits, and using specialized equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.

The Engineer will contribute to innovative solutions and support current and future projects in the domain of radio frequency engineering. We are developing a ground-penetrating radar for lunar exploration.

Qualifications Proficiency in RF Design and RF Circuits with a strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF principles Experience with Circuit Design, especially in the context of RF systems Basic knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux and embedded real-time operative system Hands-on expertise with Network Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer for testing and troubleshooting RF systems Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
