Lighting Technical Engineer

Responsibilities Conduct product testing and evaluate samples to ensure quality, performance, and project compatibility. Review, revise, and validate test reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project requirements. Maintain accurate technical documentation and stay updated on the latest lighting technologies and industry standards. Monitor and support product development processes, including prototype evaluation and validation. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product information and provide technical clarifications. Prepare and review technical submittals, datasheets, and compliance documentation. Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and value engineering of lighting systems. Assist in the selection of suitable lighting fixtures, drivers, and control systems for projects. Respond to and manage technical inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in the lighting industry performing similar responsibilities or in a related technical role. Strong knowledge of lighting products, LED drivers, control systems, and electrical standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Experience with SolidWorks is preferred. Experience in product testing, sample evaluation, and technical report review. Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in English is mandatory. Italian language skills are considered an advantage.

Working Schedule in Italian time (CET): Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-6:00pm Saturday - Off Sunday - Off Total Working Hours: 40 hours
