While experience with embedded systems is valuable, we're looking for engineers passionate about building IoT products who are eager to work close to the hardware.The ideal candidate is responsive, flexible, and thrives in an open collaborative peer environment. You'll obsess over device performance—whether that's battery life, boot time, system latency, or other critical KPIs. We're a large team with sites in Europe and Asia as well as stakeholders in the US.Basic QualificationsExperience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamExperience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systemsExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented designExperience in professional, non-internship software developmentExperience in development in the last 3 yearsExperience in embedded development in C/C++Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
