About the Role As a Finance Specialist at Nivara, you will be the end‑to‑end owner of our day‑to‑day finance operations in a deep‑tech AI environment. This role spans invoicing, expenses, treasury, payments & payroll, reporting, and compliance, while also supporting the CEO with decision‑ready insights. You’ll help us keep the financial engine running smoothly and transparently as we scale globally — with this role based exclusively in Turin.

What Success Looks Like… You maintain transparent, real-time visibility of our financial position and ensure that every report, invoice, and transaction is accurate and actionable. You design smooth, repeatable processes for payments, payrolls, and expense management—laying the foundation for scalability. You craft reports and models that support decision-making at every level, from daily operations to long-term planning. You anticipate risks, model scenarios, and help shape the financial architecture of an AI company operating at the frontier of innovation.

What You Will Do… Own financial operations end-to-end: prepare and issue invoices, manage daily AP/AR, and categorise monthly expenses. Monitor liquidity across banking and investment accounts, executing payments and payrolls with precision and care. Produce clear financial reports that illuminate performance, forecast runway, and support strategic decision-making. Manage daily accounts receivable and payable activities, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and compliant. Simulate and audit financial workflows, such as asset allocation, risk profiling, and income planning, to test assumptions and enhance efficiency. Partner with the CEO to align financial management with strategic priorities and help shape Nivara’s growth trajectory.

What Sets You Up for Success… A degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A strong grasp of financial principles; from accounting fundamentals to liquidity management and reporting. Fluency in English and Italian. A proactive mindset and curiosity for technology. A natural sense of ownership: you care deeply about accuracy, timelines, and clarity in everything you do.

Nice to Have… Experience in consulting (finance/operations/strategy) with exposure to building reports and improving processes. Familiarity with Italian GAAP and fiscal compliance frameworks. Strong analytical modelling skills (Excel or Google Sheets wizardry welcome). Interest in the AI and deep-tech ecosystem. You want to understand not just the numbers, but the innovation they fuel.
