Piper Maddox are partnered with several leading developers, IPPs and EPC contractors within the Italian renewable energy market who are currently expanding their construction and delivery teams.

Following the recent FER-X and MACSE auctions, many of our clients are entering a major construction phase. We are therefore supporting multiple organisations delivering large-scale solar and battery storage portfolios across Italy, with several pipelines exceeding 100MW scheduled for delivery throughout 2026.

These opportunities offer experienced Site Managers the chance to take a key role in the on-site execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring construction works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project timelines.

We are interested in speaking with professionals who have hands-on experience managing construction sites for solar, wind or BESS projects and who are looking to take ownership of major renewable energy developments across Italy.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities on utility-scale solar and BESS project sites

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure works are completed safely and on schedule

• Monitor construction progress and report updates to the Project Manager and internal stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, site regulations and quality requirements

• Support commissioning activities and project completion alongside engineering and project management teams

Key Skills & Experience

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

• Proven experience managing construction sites for large-scale (10MW+) solar, wind or BESS projects

• Strong knowledge of Italian construction regulations, HSE procedures and site management practices

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple stakeholders on complex construction projects

• Fluent Italian and English
