Join LANXESS and take ownership of all maintenance activities in a dynamic chemical production environment (Seveso III). This is a high‑impact leadership role where your expertise keeps our plants running safely, efficiently and reliably.
⭐As Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance strategy for our site — ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of all equipment, both for production areas and infrastructure. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, and civil maintenance activities and guarantee compliance with LANXESS standards, safety regulations, and environmental legislation.
Ensure reliable plant operation by delivering corrective, preventive, daily, and extraordinary maintenance at optimal cost.
Implement and maintain robust maintenance plans and documentation for all equipment and machinery.
Safeguard the efficiency, reliability, and safety of key assets (reactors, pumps, fire‑fighting systems, etc.).
Lead and develop the Maintenance Department to ensure best‑in‑class service delivery aligned with safety, environmental, and quality standards (incl. LANXESS maintenance standards).
Continuously review and adapt maintenance strategies to evolving operational needs.
Coordinate the internal team and external contractors to deliver safe, high‑quality work.
Project & Process Improvement
Collaborate with Process Engineers, Automation Engineer and Plant Supervisors on process improvements and production optimization.
introduce new digital and AI approach to maintenance.
Cost & System Management
Monitor maintenance spending vs. Ensure SAP is properly used for planning, execution, and reporting of maintenance tasks.
Manage spare parts strategy, ensuring availability of critical components and optimizing MRO inventory.
#Engineering background in mechanical, industrial, or related construction disciplines
~5–10 years of experience in maintenance leadership within chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing
~ Strong understanding of chemical plant technologies and material properties
~ Proven ability to plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance work and teams
~ Fluent English, strong computer skills, and SAP knowledge
