Multilingual Private Equity Associate

Our Client is well-established European private equity investment firm with a strong mid-market focus and an active presence across Southern and Western Europe. The platform manages several billion euros in assets and is known for its hands-on investment approach, partnering closely with management teams to drive operational improvement, international expansion, and value creation.

The firm has a long track record of investing in resilient businesses across industrials, business services, consumer, and niche technology segments. With sustained deployment activity and portfolio growth in Italy, the team is looking to strengthen its Milan office with the addition of an Associate.

Key Responsibilities

Support the full investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, screening, execution, and portfolio monitoring

Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO, operating, and scenario analyses

Conduct commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence in coordination with advisors and internal teams

Prepare investment memoranda, valuation materials, and presentations for investment committee discussions

Support portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, performance analysis, and add-on acquisitions

Contribute to sector research and market mapping across Italy and broader European markets

Candidate Profile

2–4 years of professional experience in private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting, or transaction advisory

Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities

Fluency in Italian and English is required, plus fluency in at least one additional European language

European deal exposure or cross-border transaction experience is considered a strong advantage

Solid understanding of European mid-market dynamics and private equity value creation levers

Highly motivated, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in a lean, high-responsibility investment team
