Senior Commercial Excellence Skills & Trainings Specialist

based in Italy. The selected candidate will report to the Global Commercial Excellence Skills & Training Lead, acting as a central partner to Skills and Training lead, Capability Leads, Trainers, and regional stakeholders, driving operational excellence across both virtual and in‑person trainings.

Role Overview The Senior Commercial Excellence Skills & Trainings Specialist is responsible for the operational delivery of global Commercial Excellence Skills & Training programs. The role ensures consistent, scalable, and high‑quality execution of capability‑building initiatives that strengthen performance across our commercial organisation.

Key Responsibilities: Global Program & Training Operations Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of global training programs across regions and time zones. Manage central training calendars, cohort planning, and scheduling optimisation. Lead operational logistics, including venue selection, training labs, travel guidance, and vendor coordination. Provide initial sourcing options and cost estimates when external trainers or services are required. Oversee proper forecasting, budget reconciliation, purchase orders, invoicing, and timely payments. Ensure seamless execution of both virtual and in‑person trainings, serving as host/producer for key virtual sessions. Prepare and distribute participant materials, pre‑reads, and communications before and after trainings. Support trainers and facilitators during live delivery, ensuring a consistent learner experience.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement Develop, standardise, and maintain processes, templates, and SOPs for training operations. Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and scalability. Mitigate operational risks through proactive planning and issue resolution. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, partnering with leadership to refine operational models. Collaborate and coordinate, without direct reporting line, the resources we have in Pune to ensure quality and quantity of their contribution has an impact and can be monitored over time

Learning Systems & Data Management Act as operational expert for available learning tools (LMS, SmarWinnr, virtual platforms, registration systems). Ensure accurate tracking of attendance, prerequisites, certifications, and completions. Maintain, in full collaboration with the PULSE ecosystem and with Clarity, dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring reliable data availability for stakeholders. Analyse learner and program data to support optimisation of future training iterations.

Stakeholder & Trainer Partnership Serve as primary operational partner to Skills and Training lead, Capability Leads, Trainers, and regional stakeholders. Coordinate training logistics and timelines with regional commercial teams. Provide trainers with briefing packs, materials, and technical readiness support. Support onboarding of new trainers to tools, systems, and training delivery processes (TTT). Manage communication with participants across all stages of the learning journey.

Learner Experience & Quality Ensure a professional, consistent learner experience from registration to certification. Monitor engagement, prerequisite completion, and submission of assignments (e.g., role‑plays, video assessments). Consolidate participant feedback and support quality evaluations. Recommend improvements to enhance learner satisfaction, consistency, and program impact.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Learning Operations, Training Management, or related fields. 2–4 years of experience in training operations, coordination, or training management. Experience with virtual learning environments (MS Teams, Zoom, Webex). Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple trainings in parallel. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. High attention to detail and a solutions‑oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting commercial or sales capability programs. Familiarity with LMS platforms, Allego, or other learning technologies. Experience working with global and virtual teams. Understanding of compliance requirements related to training delivery (e.g., GDPR, tracking workflows).
