Senior design engineer

New Opportunity – ITALY Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Renewable Energy Location: Rome or Milan (Flexible working available) Salary: €55,000 DOE My client is a specialist renewable energy engineering consultancy, and they are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to support the delivery of utility-scale PV, agrivoltaic and BESS projects across Italy. Projects range from 10 MW - 400 MW. Working within the technical team, the role focuses on direct hands-on preparation of technical documentation, electrical schematics, and detailed engineering drawings to support developers, asset owners and EPC contractors. You'll have the chance to lead strategy inside of a very exciting, growing company. Responsibilities

Electrical design of utility-scale PV and agrivoltaic plants Preparation of layouts, single-line diagrams and technical reports Providing EPC-ready executive design. Technical support to proposals, procurement and project delivery Interface with clients and project stakeholders as required

Requirements

Degree in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering 4+ years' experience in PV electrical design. Executive design experience on 10 MW+ projects. PVsyst and Auto CAD experience. Fluent in Italian and strong English skills
