Senior Engineer / Consultant (m/f/x) Aviation – Aerodrome Safety & Operations –

to join our Italian office team in Italy.

Your responsibilities: As a member of airsight Italy branch, you are working on national and international consulting projects, incl. tasks such as: Leading international project team Establish solid client relationship and promote airsight products Conduction of safety assessments related to non-compliances, major changes and arising safety concerns at international airports Development of airport procedures such as low visibility procedures, winter operations procedures, airside working procedures Establishment and Improvement of Safety Management Systems at airports Airport planning & assessing construction plannings from a safety perspective Auditing of airport procedures Participation in the development of airsights’ internal project tools Preparation of study reports and expert opinions Presentation of project results Provision of advice to clients Support of airsight training with the development of training material; potentially acting as a trainer Additional aviation/aerodrome related competences such as PPL/FCL, Flight procedure design, airport planning and design will be considered as a plus We offer: Versatile and interesting tasks with practical relevance International environment in the aviation sector Personal responsibilities in a dynamic passionate and committed team with regular team events Open communication Pleasant working atmosphere and respectful work life balance Training and development opportunities Full-time permanent position in Italy Flexibility and the possibility to work from home Competitive remuneration package Personal development and training Hands on experience in aviation consulting projects locally and internationally Your profile: University degree in aeronautical engineering, or equivalent Minimum 5 years professional experience in the aviation sector (aerodrome sector preferred) Consolidated knowledge in the field of ICAO, EASA and other regulations Consolidated knowledge in aerodrome safety and risk management Knowledge of Compliance management principles and/or auditing is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organization, intrinsic motivation, and commitment Project Management skills Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Ability to work together within a passionate, dynamic flexible and committed team Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suites (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with CAD software (e.g. MicroStation) preferred; familiarity with office 365 products (list, power automate, power app, power BI) is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication in Italian and English is mandatory, knowledge of German is preferable but not mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus Willingness to travel Excellent sense of customer-oriented services Additional Information Place of employment: Italy, Rome - Fiumicino preferred Start date: Q1 2026 Employment level: full-time How to apply: If you are interested in this challenging job and want to become part of our team, we look forward to receiving your complete application documents in PDF format with the indication of your gross annual salary expectations and your current availability to hr@airsight.it.
