Lead mechanical engineer

We support major industrial players in the execution of large-scale engineering projects. We are looking now for an experienced Lead Mechanical engineer for a 1 year project in BELGIUM for a strategic industrial project in the steel industry. This role can be filled with a freelance position. Profile: At least 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in Steelmaking plants Ability to operate as an expert leader in the steelmaking industry Strong background in CAPEX brownfield projects and maintenance Experience at OEM Supplier in steelmaking projects Languages : fluent in English / French can be a strong asset Practical information: To start ASAP up to 3 months Duration : Minimum 1 year Contract: Freelance Location : Belgium Your responsibilities will include: Development of customers technical features for mechanical disciplines Follow up technical deliverables and mechanical equipment lists Monitoring suppliers’ engineering deliverables and progress Acting as an expert reference for steelmaking equipment with hierarchy and clients Supervising operations and maintenance teams, to foster safety and reliability
