We are looking for a motivated and technically interested professional who is eager to work in a Linux and Open‑Source environment and to further develop their skills. In our Tech Transfer Digital & IT unit, you will work on exciting future‑oriented topics related to digital sovereignty and have the opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility. In this newly created project role, established as part of our Digital Sovereignty Roadmap, you will actively contribute to building a sovereign and secure Open‑Source infrastructure and support the replacement of existing proprietary systems. This is a full‑time, three‑year fixed‑term position (1+2).

We entrust this to you:

- Contributing to the setup and further development of a sovereign IT infrastructure (“Private Cloud”) based on Linux, Kubernetes, and security and encryption technologies

- Supporting the step‑by‑step migration from MS 365 / Dynamics to sovereign solutions such as Odoo, Nextcloud and additional Open‑Source components

- Collaborating with external IT partners: you will accompany sprints, review results and ensuring high‑quality, sustainable implementations

- Translating the requirements of our internal units into digital processes, workflows and system architectures and supporting their introduction

You:

- have completed a degree in an IT‑related field, possess an equivalent technical education or bring solid professional experience

- have experience in Linux system administration, DevOps environments or technical project management, ideally in ERP or cloud system implementations

- are familiar with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), network and security architectures (VPNs, firewalls, encryption) as well as GDPR and IT security topics

- bring strong teamwork and communication skills, are able to give constructive feedback, integrate different perspectives

- work independently and in a structured manner, think analytically and strategically, and enjoy exploring new technologies while keeping long‑term objectives in mind

- ave an excellent command of English and a good knowledge of German and Italian
