Job title: Associate, ML Data Operations, GO-AI Operations

This team enables automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers. This team serves Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics teams by enabling automation, which includes real-time & offline (image/video) data auditing services. One of the key contributions is supporting the fulfillment centers in maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Watch video of stowing actions at a fulfillment center, understand it thoroughly, and use human judgment with tools to indicate the activity captured in the video.
- Verify or mark the location of products through a tool while maintaining high accuracy to support stow quality.
- Perform precise and thorough video/image audits with high accuracy and speed to aid defect reduction (operational role).
- Consume several hundred videos per shift and provide responses focusing on accuracy (quality), speed (productivity), and acceptable practices.
- Maintain dedicated workspace and adhere to security requirements for associates working from home (dedicated table, chair, lighting; data not accessible by others).
- Work in non-tech contract role for 6 months; audit image/video/text-based jobs; identify details from blurry videos; maintain attention and focus on screen; work toward incremental targets on quality and productivity.
- Be willing to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts), remote teams, and be a strong team player.
- Readiness to come to office for a few days when required; switch on laptop camera during virtual meetings.
What to expect
A day in the life: 24x7 environment with 9 hour shifts, including pre-scheduled breaks. Shift timings may change every 3-4 months. Night shift allowance provided per Amazon policy.
Weekly offs: Rotational two-consecutive days off (5-day work week) or as per business discretion.
About the team
Data Auditing Operations team provides human support to Amazon Fulfillment facilities to enable hands-free active stowing through visual audits on videos/images. Videos are typically 15-20 seconds and are reviewed by associates to provide information on products stored at fulfillment centers. This process helps improve stow quality and associates will be evaluated for performance improvements/coaching.
Basic Qualifications
- Willingness to work in a non-tech role for a contract duration of 6 months
- Ability to audit image/video/text-based jobs
- Ability to identify details from blurry, less sharp videos and provide correct responses; high level of attention and focus on screen
