We are looking for a Career Advisor within our Employer Relations & Career Services Department. The Career Advisor will act as the main focal point throughout the entire student journey of specific Master of Science programs, supporting and guiding students across the different stages of their academic experience and facilitating effective interaction with the University’s services. Working in close collaboration and synergy with the Program Directors and the relevant offices, the Career Advisor ensures continuous oversight of the student experience as a distinctive feature of the role, by actively listening to students’ needs, effectively managing emerging requirements, and providing ongoing support throughout the academic pathway. At the same time, the role oversees employer relations activities, ensuring a continuous and structured connection with the labor market. Key Responsibilities Student Experience and Community Maintain direct and ongoing contact with students, acting as a key point of reference within the University (both in person and through communication activities). Promote extracurricular and team-building initiatives aimed at strengthening students’ sense of community and belonging. Collect and analyze feedback, proposing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure an innovative and competitive learning experience. Coordinate and promote post-graduation networking activities and meetings, involving Program Directors and Faculty when required. Within the framework of exchange programs, and in coordination with the Study Abroad team, organize presentations and support activities to assist students in the selection of destinations.

Career Development Coordinate career guidance activities and social and behavioral skills development programs for students, designing new initiatives when appropriate. Provide individual career counseling to students and graduates on CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and job search strategies. Share information on the job market and professional sectors, also through dedicated information sessions and workshops. Organize company events, professional talks, industry panels, and company visits, fostering networking opportunities among students, alumni, and employers. Monitor and analyze internship and placement data collected through internal surveys and reporting tools. Map students’ individual career projects and monitor their career progression over time. Promote and organize coaching and personal development pathways.

Requirements Master’s degree. At least 5 years of professional experience in providing customer support in highly exposed international contexts managing different kinds of stakeholders with a personalized need-based approach, within a higher education institution. Strong interest and understanding of the labour market trends and evolution (recruiting, employer branding, soft skills, new professions, market trends). Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Italian and English. Work/study experience abroad (at least 6 months). Solid analytical skills and confidence in working with quantitative data. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong customer orientation. Strong active listening skills, empathy, mediation abilities and results orientation, enabling effective understanding of needs, facilitation of dialogue across functions and services and problem-solving while maintaining balance, perspective, and cohesion. Proactivity, with the ability to engage in constructive dialogue with new generations in global and multicultural contexts.
