As part of the Global Procurement organization, Fresenius Kabi is looking for a Country Procurement Operations Lead Italy who will lead the Italian team dedicated to Procurement Operations and represent the Procurement function in Italy towards both internal stakeholders (Plant Manager/Supply Chain/Global Procurement…) and external ones.

Fresenius Kabi in Italy is present with 3 legal entities: Fresenius Kabi Italia (production of infusion solutions and the marketing of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and enteral nutrition products), Fresenius HemoCare Italia (production of blood filtration devices and research and development activities), Fresenius Kabi IPSUM (production and sale of active ingredients and betalactamic drugs of synthetic peptide origin) Main responsabilities

Lead Country Procurement Operations team and represent Procurement function both internally and externally (towards vendors, auditors, Global, regional or local stakeholders).

Drive Implementation and Change management activities of Procurement Operational Excellence Programs and Transformation Agenda on local level in strong collaboration with Global Procurement Organization, Plant Management and Finance

Be responsible for the submission of procurement operational reporting packages, including but not limited to functional performance, efficiencies and people agenda, upholding quality assurance

Manage and contribute to local projects and initiatives, in alignment with strategic business objectives, and ensure integration in local processes

Lead cooperations with local audits and ensure compliance within Source-2-Pay process

Build local procurement succession pipeline and best in class functional competencies

Collaborate with the company´s GBS organization on accounting activities performed out of Shared Services

Required Knowledge & Skills

Proven experience in a procurement/supply chain leadership role with 5+ years of experience, preferably as a country procurement lead for Direct and Indirect Procurement categories or equivalent, with international management exposure

Strong understanding of local and international procurement practices and standards, including Source-2-Pay policies and procedures, pharma qualification requirements and quality standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective representation and collaboration with various stakeholders

Strong experience in managing procurement operations, reporting, and budgeting and forecasting processes

Proficiency in core procurement competencies: negotiations, cost modeling, make vs. buy analysis, contract management, operational risk management, systems and tools

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex supply chain data and provide insights and actions to management

Strong leadership and project management capabilities with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment

Deep knowledge of pharma business model and industry
