As we continue to expand, we are strengthening our HR structure to ensure compliance, transparency, and scalable compensation processes.
We are seeking a Payroll & Compensation Specialist to take ownership of payroll operations in Italy, based in our Rovigo site, and to support compensation processes in alignment with our international standards.
This position requires solid hands-on payroll expertise, strong knowledge of Italian labor regulations, and experience working with external providers and local institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management (Italy)
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing in collaboration with external payroll providers (e.g., Di Nunzio or similar)
• Ensure full compliance with Italian labor law, tax regulations, and collective bargaining agreements (CCNL)
• Act as the main internal contact for payroll audits and inspections
• Coordinate with Confindustria and relevant authorities when required
Labor Relations & Compliance
• Support HR matters related to labor regulations and collective agreements
• Monitor regulatory updates and assess impact on payroll and compensation
• Provide support in union-related topics when applicable
Compensation & Reward
• Support salary benchmarking and market analysis
• Contribute to annual salary review and incentive planning processes
• Maintain transparent and compliant compensation structures
• Ensure alignment between job grading and pay positioning
HR Data & Reporting
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll and HR data
• Prepare reports for management and finance
• Support HR system updates and continuous process improvements
Profile
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll and compensation, preferably in an international or manufacturing environment
• Proven experience working with third-party payroll providers (e.g., Di Nunzio or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Italian labor law and collective agreements
• Experience interacting with Confindustria and labor consultants
• Exposure to trade union relations is considered a plus
• Fluency in English and Italian (both mandatory)
• High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently
