We are a Swiss scale-up, and we are developing innovative software solutions that enable smart charging for electric vehicles. We work with the likes of global innovators, including Techstars, Toyota, Stellantis’ Free2Move E-Solutions, as well as major utilities from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain.
Teams like Hive Power are the driving force behind the green energy revolution. Will you be a part of it? We are now looking for a Technical Marketing Intern to help us build and optimize our next-generation AI-powered sales and marketing engine.
The Dream
We are building a fully automated AI-driven lead generation and business development machine powered by Clay and AI agents.
Here is what we are working toward:
We leverage tools such as Clay and Claude, integrated with HubSpot, to build AI agents while ensuring data privacy and compliance. These agents continuously scout LinkedIn to identify new leads, track job changes, and spot job openings that signal a company is strategically shifting toward energy flexibility, as well as other high-priority target companies. As leads come in, they are automatically scored on a 0 to 100 scale, and those that pass the threshold move straight into data enrichment inside Clay to fill in the missing details we need to engage effectively.
From there, the system triggers automated outreach sequences that use AI-powered message personalization for both LinkedIn and email. As soon as someone replies, the automation stops and the conversation is immediately handed over to the correct sales representative based on geography, ensuring a fast and human follow-up at the right moment. In parallel, the agents help qualify and track Clean Energy Club members, automatically assigning each member to the appropriate business development owner by region. To keep everything running, we continually feed the system with fresh leads from new sectors, ensuring the funnel stays replenished and supports Clean Energy Club growth and ongoing white paper distribution.
What You Will Do:
Dive deep into AI agent building in Clay, a no-code sales and marketing automation and data enrichment tool
Experiment with tutorials, prompting techniques, and other AI tools, like Claude, to build reliable automation systems
Design and optimize agentic workflows for lead sourcing, scoring, enrichment, and routing
Build and maintain automated outbound systems across LinkedIn and email
Clean, segment, and track Clean Energy Club members
Continuously identify new sectors and lead sources to keep the funnel replenished
Improve lead scoring logic and enrichment quality
Monitor deliverability and external domain warming systems
Work directly with Business Development to ensure smooth lead handover
This is not a spare time project. It requires real ownership, iteration, and technical curiosity.
Must-Have Qualities:
Strong interest in AI agents, automation, no-code tools, and system building
Comfortable learning independently through experimentation, tutorials, and AI assistance
Analytical mindset. You enjoy breaking down systems and optimizing them
Able to think in workflows, funnels, and logic trees
Strong written English skills (other European languages are a plus) Willingness to get your hands dirty and iterate quickly
Curious, proactive, and not afraid of technical challenges

Nice-to-Have Qualities
Experience with Clay or similar automation tools
Experience with AI prompting and workflow design
Background in marketing automation, RevOps, or growth systems
Any coding experience - gives you the logical reasoning to build what we are building
Familiarity with CRM systems and outbound sales workflows
Interest in clean energy, smart charging, or climate tech
Experience engaging LinkedIn communities
Bachelor's degree related to Hive Power’s core business or marketing or tech
