BenefitsJoin a fast-growing renewable energy developer backed by a major global infrastructure investorExposure to a large pipeline of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projectsStrong career progression as the portfolio scalesExcellent bonusSummaryOur client is a rapidly expanding renewable energy developer focused on utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) projects across Italy.With multiple projects under construction and a significant authorised storage pipeline, they are strengthening their team and are looking to appoint a Junior Buyer in Rome.This is a hands-on, technical procurement role - ideal for someone with 2+ years’ experience buying main electrical components within the renewable energy sector.The RoleReporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting the sourcing and purchasing of key electrical equipment across live solar and storage construction projects.Key responsibilities include:Procurement of main components for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projectsPurchasing materials such as inverters and transformers Managing supplier communications and RFQ processesCoordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure technical complianceSupporting delivery timelines in line with project schedulesRequirementsMinimum 2 years’ procurement experience within renewable energyExperience purchasing primary project equipment Exposure to utility-scale solar and/or BESS projectsStrong organisational and coordination skillsItalian and English language capabilityIf you're currently working within renewable energy procurement and want broader exposure across a growing pipeline of solar and storage projects, this could be a strong next step.
